Castle Vista, Grassmarket exceeded my expectations. The apartment has a lovely home from home feel, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities you need for a self-catering trip and more. The private off-road parking was a massive bonus, and it was very easy to get my car in and out. The apartment was also very quiet, and I didn't hear a peep from any of the neighbors. The owner was quick to reply to a minor issue and was very helpful throughout my stay. The location in the heart of the city center was perfect, with an awesome view of the castle. The instructions for check-in and keys were also very helpful, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. I had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend Castle Vista, Grassmarket.

The apartment was lovely and clean, with a very homely feel. The central location allowed us to easily explore all the attractions in Edinburgh by foot. The communication with the host was excellent, and they provided a helpful guest book with recommendations. The view of the castle from the apartment was an added bonus.

Although the apartment was great, there were a few minor inconveniences. The parking spaces were quite tight, so it would be better suited for smaller cars.

One specific situation that happened during our stay was the issue with the hot water. Unfortunately, the water heater only heated the water once a day, which wasn't sufficient for our needs.
